Evan Janson | RN

Evan is a Functional Wellness Practitioner who is passionate about helping people maximize their health.  By focusing on the “3 T’s” that cause disease…thoughts, trauma and toxins, he is able to help patients identify the root causes of their illnesses and make lifestyle changes geared toward long term wellness.  He believes that mindset (thoughts) is the primary key to change, and that once patients adjust their mindset, they are able to begin utilizing strategies to simultaneously start removing the toxins that are already in their body and start making lifestyle changes to keep them out.  He believes that there is a significant health crisis in the world, and that as men and women, we individually need to “Stand Up” and re-claim our health and our lives.

As a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience, he has cared for patients with a diverse range of medical conditions including critical care, surgery, neurology, cardiology, respiratory and mental health.  Over the years he has seen multiple chronic illnesses and came to the realization that these were what most often brought patients to the hospital. This led him to start looking for answers and to develop a greater understanding of the human body.  What he found was that by understanding the concepts of Functional Medicine, including gut dysfunction, food allergies and hormonal imbalances, he was able to help people in profound ways that otherwise would not be possible.

Evan is inspired to do this work by his 3 children and especially by his best friend and wife Shelly who he has been married to since 1998.  He loves the outdoors and spending time with his family.  His long-term goal is to have a hobby farm in the country where future grandchildren can come and play.
